The rim and hub needs refreshing. So off with the old tyre, off with the disk and out with the old bearings.

spokes have lost most of the original Zinc, well they are 39 years old.

In the Brick acid 2 mins and they are striped ready for the re Zinc.

Back from the platers so lets re build the wheel.













First freeze the new bearings and warm the hub.

Bottom one in now for the top.

Done just the cir clip then on to my favourite job the re-spoke.

All inners in first










Nipples fitted now on to the outers.

Job done, just truing and then ready for the tyre.
